Passing Twice: LGBTQ+ People Who Stutter

This workshop is an open discussion exploring the experiences of LGBTQ+ people who stutter. There are many parallels common to the LGBTQ+ and Stuttering communities, including passing as nonLGBTQ+ or fluent, coming out or disclosure, hiding in the closet or being covert, and other aspects of being a non-visible minority. While the discussions are about identifying as both LGBTQ+ and a PWS, the workshop is open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Passing Twice will be hosting a Queer Night Out, tonight, Friday, July 8th for those at the NSA conference. We’ll be meeting at 7PM in the Hyatt Regency main lobby in Atlanta. We’ll go out for dinner at Shu’s Chinese restaurant and probably go to a bar afterwards! We hope to see everyone there!
